The brand new ABB Omnicore IRB 1100
The brand new ABB Omnicore IRB 1100 has arrived. The first impressions is that the new teach pendant and its GUI (Graphgical User Interface) are very intuitive, which is great as this is going to be a training robot.
New automated box packer and sealer designed, built, and tested here at Pelican Systems.
It’s capable of handling weights up to 15kgs, but heavier loads can be utilised.
It will handle boxes with lengths of between 510mm-1190mm and a maximum height of 380mm, however the system can be designed to handle bigger boxes.
ABB IRC5 Training
ABB robots are widely used across many varying industries, Food & Beverage, Automotive, Pharmaceutical etc. To use your robots in a safe way and to their full potential it is important to keep your personnel up-to-date on the latest technical developments.
We offer training at our facility’s on ABB’s IRC5 controller.
Our training courses include robot training modules for :-
- Palletising / End of line packing
- Component assembly
- Welding
- Machine tending (load/ Unloading)
- Liquid dosing
